Shipping PolicyBirdfeeders.com ships to the contiguous 48 connecting states as well as to Alaska, Puerto Rico and Hawaii.
All orders for Alaska, Puerto Rico & Hawaii require Air Delivery. Please select the air delivery option during checkout.
Birdfeeders.com does not accept orders for items on backorder. However, you can sign-up for product availability notifications and we will send you an e-mail when the item you are interested in becomes available.
Birdfeeders.com does not ship to post office boxes.

Shipping MethodsBirdfeeders.com ships via the following shipping methods:
- Standard Ground - 1-6 business days via UPS
- Next Day Air - 1 business day via UPS
- 2nd Day Air -2 business days via UPS
NOTE: these are estimated transit times after your order has been fulfilled. Our goal is to fulfill orders within 24 hours or less during regular business days.
Transit TimesBirdfeeders.com ships from two locations: Denver, CO and Mechanicsburg, PA. In order to minimize shipping expenses and delivery time, your order will ship from the warehouse closest to you depending on product availability. Note: If your order contains bird feeder parts, it will be shipped from our Denver warehouse regardless of where you are located.

Birdfeeders.com does not ship during weekends or holidays. On regular business days, order fulfillment is 24 hours or less. If you place your order on a Friday, Saturday or a holiday, your order will be fulfilled on the next business day.

Express OrdersOrders sent via "Next Day Air" and "2nd Day Air" are delivered to you on the next business day or 2nd business day from the day they are shipped. Orders are shipped during business days only - we do not ship during weekends or holidays. Carriers only deliver during business days as well.
Placing your order very late in the day, after the shipping companies have picked up their last shipment, is one factor that can affect shipping time. Also, due to the nature of items in the order, some orders may take longer to put together, pack and ship than others.
As a rule, you can expect orders shipped "Next Day" to take 2-3 days to arrive, and orders shipped "2nd Day" to arrive within 3-4 days.
Hazardous MaterialsItems that are deemed Hazardous Materials may not be shipped via Air, they can only ship via Standard Ground.
Therefore, hazardous materials cannot and will not be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.
If your order is going to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, and contains a hazardous material, that item will be removed automatically from your cart at time of checkout. If your order is going to any other state and contains a hazardous material, express air shipping will not be an available shipping method - only the UPS ground method will be available.
